Anil (Kumb)leads; RCB beat Punjab

KXIP made a couple of (Kati)changes to their playing eleven – Ravi Bopara and Wilkin Mota made way for Simon and Tanmay Srivastava.

RCB made three changes to their playing eleven – Kevin Pietersen, Manish Pandey and Pankaj Singh made way for Jesse Ryder, Rajesh Bishnoi and Robin Uthappa.

On winning the toss, Anil Kumble, RCB’s skipper, chose to bat.

The first Powerplay of RCB’s innings – which was the mandatory Powerplay – was between the first and the sixth over. They scored 38, and lost a couple of wickets.
