Dhoni shines; CSK beat Delhi

CSK made one change to their playing (Mork)eleven – Chris Morris made way for his fellow South African, Albie.

DD made three changes to their playing (Mork)eleven – Mahela Jayawardene, Morne, and Shahbaz Nadeem made way for Johan Botha, Roelof van der Merwe, and Ashish Nehra.

On winning the toss, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, CSK’s skipper, and the player of the match, chose to bat.

Rohit-led MI beat the (Pu)neighbours

PWI made five changes to their playing eleven – Udit Birla, Mitchell Marsh, Mahesh Rawat, Wayne Parnell, and Krishnakant Upadhyay made way for Manish Pandey, Abhishek Nayar, Kane Richardson, Ashok Dinda, and Ajantha Mendis.

MI made one changes to their playing eleven – Ambati Rayudu made way for Glenn Maxwell.

Finch, whose 11-ball innings included a couple of boundaries, scored 10. Seventeen balls into the match, he was caught by Dwayne. Mitchell Johnson, the player of the match, broke the (Smi)thirteen-run stand.

Uthappa, whose 13-ball (Rob)innings included a boundary, scored 11. Eleven balls later, he was trapped leg before wicket by Lasith Malinga, who broke the 12-run stand.

Maxwell, whose 13-ball innings included a boundary and a six, had a reason to be in seventh heaven – he was unbeaten, as was Harbhajan, who faced three balls, scoring four. His runs came by way of a boundary.

MI, who scored 116 for the loss of five wickets off 18.5 overs, won by five wickets with seven balls to spare.

Rasool bowled an over, conceding five. He was wicketless, as was Bhuvneshwar, who bowled a couple of overs, conceding a dozen.
