The first Powerplay of RCB’s innings – which was the
mandatory Powerplay – was between the first and the sixth over. They scored 22,
and lost five wickets.
Yogesh Takawale, who faced three balls, did not get off
the mark. Four balls into the match, he was caught by Sanju Samson. Stuart Binny
broke the one-run stand.
The second-wicket pair didn’t get off the mark. Parthiv Patel,
who faced a ball, scored a run. The (Raha)next ball, Ajinkya and Samson ran him
out.
Yuvraj Singh had no reason to be in seventh heaven – he scored
just (Smi)three. Eight balls later, he was caught by Steven. Richardson broke
the four-run stand.
The fourth-wicket pair did not get off the mark. De
Villers, who faced A Ball, didn’t open his account. The next ball, he was
dismissed by Richardson.
Rana, who faced eight balls, scored just three. Eighteen
balls later, Watson broke the 12-run stand.
Although his 13-ball innings included a boundary, Albie

stand.
The last-wicket pair didn’t get off the mark. Ashok Dinda,
who faced three balls, didn’t open his account. Three balls later, he was trapped
leg before wicket by Tambe.
Yuzvendra Chahal, who didn’t face a ball, was unbeaten.
RCB were bundled out for 70 off 15 overs.
Southee, who bowled three wicketless overs, conceded 16.
Bhatia and Binny bowled an over each, picking up a wicket
apiece. While the former was in seventh heaven, the latter conceded a run.
Watson bowled a couple of overs, including a maiden. He

caught by de Villiers. Chahal broke the 32-run stand.
Binny, who did not face a ball, was unbeaten.
RR, who scored 71 for the loss of four wickets off 13
overs, had a reason to be in seventh heaven – they won by half-a-dozen wickets.
Dinda, who bowled a couple of overs, conceded eight. He
was wicketless, as was Rampaul, who bowled four overs, conceding 16.
Chahal bowled three overs, including a maiden. He conceded
17, picking up a wicket.
Starc, who bowled four overs, conceded 29. He picked up a
couple of wickets.
