KKR made three changes to their playing eleven – Chris Lynn, Yusuf Pathan, and Umesh Yadav made way for Manvinder Bisla, Shakib Al Hasan, and Vinay Kumar.
RR made a couple of changes to their playing eleven –
Abhishek Nayar and Tim Southee made way for James Faulkner (the player of the
match) and Iqbal Abdulla.

The first Powerplay of RR’s innings – which was the
mandatory Powerplay – was between the first and the sixth over. They scored 45,
and lost a wicket.
Nair, who faced five balls, scored (K)arun. Thirteen balls
into the match, Vinay Kumar broke the run-a-ball stand.

Sanju Samson, whose 19-ball innings included four

Shakib, whose 18-ball innings included three boundaries,

The seventh-wicket pair did not get off the mark. Vinay,

out.
