The first Powerplay of KKR’s innings – which was the mandatory Powerplay
– was between the first and the sixth over. They scored 45, and lost a couple
of wickets.
KKR’s openers didn’t get off the mark. McCullum, who faced a ball, didn’t
open his account. A ball into the match, he was caught by Virat Kohli off the
bowling of Kevin Pietersen, RCB’s skipper.
Brad Hodge, whose 15-ball innings included a couple of boundaries and a
six, scored 17. Thirty-four balls later, he was trapped (Kumb)leg before wicket
by Anil, who broke the 45-run stand.
KKR scored 50 off 7.2 overs (44 balls). RCB had conceded half-a-dozen

Sourav Ganguly, who faced eight balls, scored just a run. Sixteen balls
