Mumbai disappointed; Dhoni-led CSK triumph

CSK made one change to their playing (Mork)eleven – Jason Holder made way for Albie.

MI made four changes to their playing (Pat)eleven – Glenn Maxwell, Rishi Dhawan, Nathan Coulter-Nile, and Dhawal Kulkarni made way for Dwayne Smith, Mitchell Johnson, Pragyan Ojha, and Munaf.

On winning the toss, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, CSK’s skipper, chose to bat.

The first Powerplay of MI’s innings – which was the mandatory Powerplay – was between the first and the sixth over. They scored 56, and lost a wicket.

Although his run-a-ball innings included a boundary, Aditya had no (Ta)reason to be in seventh heaven – 10 balls into the chase, he was caught by Vijay. Albie broke the 12-run stand.

Harbhajan, who faced four balls, didn’t get off the mark. Half-a-dozen balls later, he was caught by Vijay. Bravo broke the one-run stand.

Johnson had no reason to be in seventh heaven – he scored half-a-dozen. Ten balls later, he was caught by Raina. Bravo broke the 11-run stand.
